TEN-155

Introduction

TEN-155 was the European research network which connected 20 national and one regional research networks between 11 December 1998 and 30 November 2001.

TEN-155 has now been replaced by GÉANT. More information can be found on the GÉANT page

Over the next few weeks, much of the material relating to TEN-155 services and their operation will be updated and moved to the GÉANT pages. For the present, you can still find all the TEN-155 documentation as before. The updating will be a sizeable editing task and while it is going on you may come across some outdated references which imply (wrongly) that TEN-155 is still in service.

TEN-155 was the direct result of the QUANTUM project and was organised and implemented by the QUANTUM Consortium with DANTE as Co-ordinating Partner. TEN-155 replaced the successful TEN-34 network when it became operational on 11 December 1998.
