Differentiated Services (diffserv)

An IETF working group that develops standards for the basic mechanisms of service differentiation based on code points in the IPv4 TOS byte or the IPv6 Traffic Class octet.

TEQUILA

Another IST project that is defining service definitions and tools for quantitative end-to-end quality of service. The work on the technical aspects of Service Level Specifications (SLS) is of particular interest to SEQUIN.

TF-NGN

Technical work carried out by European NRNs (National Research Networks) under coordination of DANTE and TERENA, concerning several technologies for backbone networks. Includes activities on support for delay and jitter requirements, AF-based services, over-provisioned network performance analysis, and QoS monitoring.
