Network Engineering and Planning
Activities
Our activities are related to the IP engineering of GÉANT, the planning of the migration from TEN-155, and the
introduction of advanced services such as multicast, IPv6, IP QoS as IP Premium and Less than Best Effort, MPLS and
L2 VPN. We are active within the TF-NGN community (Performance Enhancement Response Team and Performance monitoring group,
etc) and providing some support for international projects such as e-VLBI.
The NEP team is also involved in EC funded projects such as 6NET,
Eumedconnect and Serenate.
